STRONG 101 AND/OR JIU JITSU
One thing that makes us unique at Industrial Strength is that we offer both industry leading strength training and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program with 20 years experience. If you have been looking for a place to do strength training and martial arts under one roof, we have you covered.
Start with a single trial class of either Strong 101 or Jiu Jitsu. If you are interested in both that is awesome! You should still start with the option below, and we’ll be in touch to explain how you can try out both classes.

2. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
At the end of the class please allocate a few minutes to chat with the coach to review how everything went. The next step after your intro class is our “1-week test run” where you get both Strong 101 as well as Jiu Jitsu for one additional week. Please note that the “1-week test run” is only available to purchase on the same day as your intro class.
KETTLEBELLS AND/OR S&C
Our Kettlebell classes and Strength & Conditioning classes are incredible options to build muscle, get stronger, and improve overall fitness. In these classes you will do exercises like kettlebell swings, Turkish get ups, kettlebell snatches, barbell deadlifts, barbell squats, and more. Please note that these are not beginner-friendly exercises in the sense that we cannot teach them to you “on the fly” during class.

2. TYPICAL NEXT STEPS
We will typically want to work with you 1-on-1 at least once, if not a few times to make sure you’re ready to rock. These sessions typically involve both form check-ins as well as ensuring you understand how our classes work, progression systems we use, gym policies, and so on.
1-ON-1 PERSONAL TRAINING
START WITH A NO-COMMITMENT APPLICATION
Are you interested in having the most individualized training experience possible? Workouts that are custom tailored to your goals and ability level?
Having a personal trainer is the best way match the workout to what your body brings that day: be it a ton of energy on one day, or low energy because you are stressed and tired on another day. Working 1-on-1 with a personal trainer is the best way to customize your training to your exact needs and abilities.
To learn more about personal training begin by filling out the short application below. It has simple questions like asking you to tell us about your background / experience level, and what your schedule / availability is. It should take no more than 5-min to complete.

After you have completed our short application (located above) we will contact you within one or two business days to schedule a phone call with you where we can dive deeper into your goals and discuss what it will take to get there.

2. MOVEMENT ASSESSMENTS
No two people move alike, and we need to know how YOU move in order to provide the best guidance for you. We start your first session by taking you through some initial movement screens and mobility assessments, which are crucial to help us advise what path your training should take.

3. STRENGTH TRAINING
We know you are coming to us because you want to get stronger, so barring any unusual circumstances we make sure to include a solid strength training workout in your very first appointment. Expect to go through a total body strength workout including upper body, lower body, and core. Our coach will tailor the specifics of the workout (including its intensity) to your individual level.

4. PLAN NEXT STEPS
At the end of the workout, your coach will review everything with you and discuss how it went. Please be sure to bring your calendar to this session, because we usually also schedule out additional appointments.
YOUTH martial arts
Martial arts is a great way for children to get exercise, have fun with friends, learn self-defense, and develop traits like hard work, discipline, and respect. Our Youth Jiu Jitsu classes meet Tuesday + Thursday from 4:00-5:00 and are available to ages six and above. As a cool bonus, we also offer a Strong 101 class for adults at that same 4:00 Tue/Thu time. That means you can get in your own workout while your child takes our Jiu Jitsu class!

2. FAQ FOR PARENTS
We hope your child has fun in their trial class and wants to continue training! A couple common questions we get:
Q: Does my child need a gi (uniform) to do the trial class?
A: Absolutely not! Regular athletic clothing is fine.
Q: I have more than one family member who wants to try training at Industrial Strength, what do I need to know?
A: Awesome! Regardless of if you have two children who want to try it, or maybe you want to take Strong 101 or adult BJJ and you have a child who wants to try Youth BJJ, please see THIS LINK for how to set up a family account with Mindbody.

In from out of town? Or are you possibly local, but just want to swing by once in a while? We accept guests into some of our classes, but not all of them.
In the weight room we welcome drop-ins for our Strong 101 class, and on the martial arts side adult Jiu Jitsu is guest-friendly.

We sell day-passes to those wanting to jump in on Strong 101 and/or Jiu Jitsu classes. The day-pass will get you access to all the aforementioned classes in one day, so feel free to jump in on back-to-back classes as your schedule (and energy) allows.
