Holly strives to embody strength and empowerment so she can encourage the same within others. She loves helping people discover their physical and mental power through strength training. Holly has loved movement since the beginning, trail running with her dad, and dancing with her mom. Movement has served as stress relief, fun, meditation, and a physical manifestation of her constant desire to be better and more deeply connected to herself.
She began strength training in her early twenties, and once she discovered kettlebells, she was hooked. She earned a NASM personal training certificate in 2014, and a kettlebell certificate through Agatsu shortly after. She’s taught kettlebells & calisthenics ever since, and became Strongfirst certified in 2016 (smiling through the last 30 reps of her snatch test!) Her favorite lifts include pistol squats, deadlifts, and get ups. She’s aiming to become an Iron Maiden sometime in the next couple of years. Outside of the gym, you’ll find her photographing many still lives, cooking for an underground supper club, writing and sipping tea introspectively, grooving to soul & R&B, and laughing easily.
