Industrial Strength is Portland’s premier facility for personal training, strength training group classes, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Nowhere else will you find premier instruction with kettlebells, national level Olympic-style weightlifting, and black belt Jiu Jitsu instruction all under one roof. However, what really sets Industrial Strength apart are the people who train here – the community is second to none, and is something you have to experience first hand.
Industrial Strength’s programs result in you moving better, gaining flexibility, improving stamina, building lean muscle and, as the name suggests, getting stronger — both physically and mentally.
The team at Industrial Strength is committed to providing you an environment that is friendly and welcoming; a facility that is clean, organized, and outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment; and a coaching staff that sets the bar for expertise and experience.
Ready to get started? Click below to start your enrollment. Once your purchase has gone through, we will email you to get your first visit scheduled. Please note that all options below are available to local residents only.
The 2-week trial of classes begins with an initial orientation session (scheduled by appointment, we will email you) to show you around the gym and make sure you know what to expect in classes. This orientation also includes a quick assessment called a “movement screen” to determine if there are any areas of mobility we think you would benefit from working on – note that some of our classes have minimum requirements for mobility before participation. After your orientation session is complete you are then ready to start taking classes. The 2-week period starts on the date of your first class (not the date of purchase and not necessarily the date of your orientation session).
The 2-week trial includes access to the following classes:
- S.P.E.A.D. (Strength, Power, Endurance, Agility, Durability)
- Kettlebell Technique (pending your score on the movement screen)
- Classes available for those who have met test-in criteria
- Strength & Conditioning (strength & technique minimums required)
- Kettlebell level 1 (strength & technique minimums required)
- Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals
- Jiu Jitsu
- Women’s Jiu Jitsu
- No Gi Jiu Jitsu
If you still have questions you’d like to ask before getting started with one of the three options above, please use this form and we will get back to you ASAP.
NOTE: If you are interested in either Olympic style Weightlifting (the competition lifts of the snatch and the clean&jerk) or joining our Oregon LWC competition team please email us directly at email@example.com
