NO GI JIU JITSU – SUBMISSION GRAPPLING
Traditionally in BJJ training a “gi” or “kimono” is worn, however it is common to spend time training without the gi as well, hence “no gi” Jiu Jitsu, which is also known as Submission Grappling. All the same principles apply, but the environment and some of the details are a bit different due to having less friction and no grips. This is also a great first class to try out for new students who don’t own a gi yet.
